PICKLE//QUEUE is a platform that allows players and organizers to discover, create, manage, and participate in pickleball events. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website, mobile application, and related services.
By using PICKLE//QUEUE, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information You Provide
When creating an account, event, or registration, you may provide:
- First name, last name, display name, email address, and password handled securely through Supabase Authentication.
- Profile photo, optional phone number, biography, pickleball skill rating, DUPR ID if provided, and organizer information where applicable.
- Event name, description, date, time, location, capacity, skill requirements, registration settings, fees, and publication status.
- Registration information, attendance records, check-in or check-out status, waitlist status, court assignments, match results, and event participation history.

Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we may automatically collect technical data such as:
- IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, app version, and session information.
- Authentication timestamps, login history, security logs, error logs, performance diagnostics, and analytics events.
- Cookie or similar session data needed to keep you signed in, remember preferences, improve security, and maintain application reliability.

Profile Photos
- Profile photos are stored using Supabase Storage or a similar storage provider.
- Your profile photo may be visible to organizers and other players where the product displays participant or leaderboard information.
- You may replace or remove your profile photo from your profile when the feature is available.
- Deleted photos are removed from active storage within a reasonable period, subject to backups and operational requirements.

Pickleball Ratings
PICKLE//QUEUE allows players to maintain skill ratings, including self-reported ratings, organizer-assigned ratings, verified ratings, and external ratings such as DUPR if connected.
Self-reported ratings are not represented as officially verified unless supported by an approved verification process or external provider.

DUPR Integration
If you choose to connect your DUPR account in the future, we may access information that you authorize through the official integration, including DUPR Player ID, current rating, rating history where permitted, and verification status.
PICKLE//QUEUE does not collect your DUPR credentials directly unless required by an officially supported integration. If you disconnect your DUPR account, future synchronization will stop.

How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and provide role-based player or organizer experiences.
- Allow event registration, waitlist approval, attendance tracking, check-ins, court assignments, match history, leaderboards, and event completion records.
- Display player profiles, skill ratings, limited participant details, and organizer event information where appropriate.
- Send important account notifications, verification emails, event updates, and security messages.
- Improve user experience, detect fraud or abuse, provide support, maintain platform security, and improve application performance.
- We do not sell your personal information.

Event Information
When you participate in an event, organizers may view your name, profile picture, skill rating, registration status, attendance status, check-in history, court assignment, and match participation information.
Other players may see limited profile information where appropriate, such as your display name, profile picture, leaderboard placement, court assignment, match history, and winner details.

Data Sharing
We may share information only when needed to operate the Service with:
- Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and realtime infrastructure.
- Cloud hosting providers, email delivery providers, analytics providers, and support tools.
- Official third-party integrations that you authorize, such as DUPR if connected.
- Legal, safety, or compliance parties when required by law or necessary to protect users and the platform.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and maintain event history.
Certain records, such as attendance logs, match history, event results, and organizer activity logs, may be retained for operational or legal purposes even after account deletion where permitted by law.

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including HTTPS, encrypted authentication, role-based access controls, database Row Level Security, secure cloud infrastructure, regular software updates, access logging, and server-side validation.
No system can guarantee absolute security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

PICKLE//QUEUE is not intended for children under the age of 13 or the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate authorization.
